THE A3E3 MECHANIC OF THE YEAR CONTEST

Could you be Petty Enterprises’ next "honorary" pit crew member? Yes! And here's how:

The All 3 Every 3 Program and Richard Petty have announced a nationwide search for the A3E3 Mechanic of the Year. Everyday people with various levels of mechanical experience are encouraged to enter the contest in one of the three following categories:

• Certified Mechanics: ASE certified mechanics who currently work in the industry or are seeking an opportunity within the industry (entrants are required to provide proof of ASE certification)
  
• Amateur Mechanics: Anyone in the country who likes to work on their car in their spare time or as a hobby
  
• Student Mechanic: Those currently enrolled in a community college, vocational or specialty school, studying to be a mechanic

One Grand Prize Winner will win airfare, hotel and ground transportation for two (2) to the UAW-GM Quality 500 race at the Lowes Motor Speedway in Charlotte, N.C. on October 10th, 2003, two (2) pit passes* to the race and be named "honorary” pit crew member for a Petty racing team at the race. The Grand Prize Winner may even have the chance to meet Richard Petty! Three First Prize Winners, one from each of the categories listed above, will win two (2) pit passes* to a NASCAR race of their choice (must redeem within 12 months of notification). Certain restrictions and/or blackout dates may apply. Winners will be notified on or around August 22, 2003. See complete prize description in the Official Rules.

Contest Rules and Regulations
